Main Street Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas is looking for a Christian and talented musician who has a heart for worship. You would be joining a church community that functions as a New Testament church. Our small, friendly community is located less than 10 minutes from Fayetteville Arkansas and the University of Arkansas campus. Our body of believers is positioned for great impact for Christ in our area.
This is currently a part-time position.
Responsibilities are as follows: Plan and lead weekly worship services; Collaborate with the pastor and worship team to create a meaningful worship experience; Willingness to work with a blend of hymns and contemporary music to foster a spirit of unity and encouragement; Recruit musicians and members of the worship team as needed.
Qualificatioins are as follows: A strong personal faith in God; A strong desire to lead others in worship; Willingness to serve; Ability to play an instrument - preferably guitar and/or piano, but will accept any; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Experience with sound system, projection and IT is not required but would be helpful when working with current Tech Team. Some experience in leading worship would be a plus.
