Monterey First Baptist Church is a smaller church in a rural community in Concordia Parish. We currently operate under Interim Leadership but seek a Full Time or Bi-vocational Pastor (as God leads).
Our Church grounds consist of Main Building/ Sanctuary/ office and Classes, Playground, Family Life Center/ Gym/ Kitchen, Cemetery and A Parsonage.
We currently offer Sunday School classes for the following: Women’s Class, Youth, Children’s, & 2 adult classes. Sunday evening we offer Youth Class, Bible Drills/ Children’s Class, & Discipleship training prior to evening service.
Wednesday nights are filled with Youth Volleyball, Youth Class, Children’s Class, games, and supper together in the Family Life Center. We have a very active and growing youth program that we are very excited about.
Monterey is a small community surrounded by lakes, rivers, agricultural land, and wildlife recreation. We have a small public school that we strive to reach and support.
