DeSoto Hills Baptist Church in Southaven, MS, is seeking a full-time Minister of Music to lead and grow our dynamic worship ministry. Our worship style is blended, incorporating a choir, orchestra, and praise team to create a Christ-centered and engaging worship experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead congregational worship services
- Oversee a comprehensive music program, including graded choirs
- Supervise music ministry support staff
- Manage and administer the music ministry budget
- Help with daily ministerial duties
Qualifications:
- A strong calling and passion for leading worship and discipling others through music
- Experience in directing choirs, orchestras, and praise teams
- Organizational and leadership skills to manage a multifaceted music ministry
- A heart for ministry and team collaboration
