We are a small country church family in a rural area in the southwest corner of Arkansas. Like most churches we have been affected by covid but are in the process of rebuilding our small church family. We are seeking a pastor who is filled with the Holy Spirit and willing to share God's Word in the effort to bring others to Christ. We have senior adults as well as young couples with babies, so even though we are few in number we strive to reach all walks of life. We have some members in nursing homes, on hospice and in assisted living that we try to visit and minister to as well. We need a pastor willing to preach and to teach God's Word to equip our people to be salt and light.
We do feel that we need a pastor who would be on location and be invested in our community and a parsonage is available.
As stated previously, the area is very rural with a paper mill, cattle and poultry growers, but also with a vast amount of outdoor opportunities for hunting, fishing and other activities, due to the forest, streams, rivers and a lake in the nearby area. There are two K-12 schools, one at Horatio, Arkansas and one at Foreman, Arkansas that are within 7 - 12 miles of the church.
Consideration for a pastor will be determined by our search committee upon receiving a resume of education, experience, references and a background check.
