Children's Ministry Director

Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy, AR, is seeking a passionate and organized Children’s Ministry Director to lead and grow our ministry to children (birth through 6th grade). This role is essential in helping children know and follow Jesus while supporting families in their spiritual growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and Lead Weekly Programming: Oversee Sunday morning and Wednesday night children’s ministry activities, ensuring they are biblically grounded, age-appropriate, and engaging.

• Volunteer Coordination: Build a strong team of volunteers; provide leadership, encouragement, and training to serve effectively.

• Outreach and Events: Organize special events such as Vacation Bible School, outreach activities, and seasonal celebrations.

• Communication: Maintain strong communication with parents and caregivers, equipping them to be the primary spiritual influence in their children’s lives.

• Ensure Safety and Excellence: Implement and maintain child safety policies and procedures in line with best practices and church guidelines.

Qualifications

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a calling to serve children and families in a local church.

• Experience in children’s ministry, education, or a related field (preferred). 

• Ability to lead, organize, and work well with volunteers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Hours and Compensation

• Part-time, approximately 20 hours/week

• Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
