Calvary Trail Cowboy Church of Louann, Arkansas
Calvary Trail Cowboy Church (CTCC) is Southern Baptist Church seeking a full-time or bi-vocational Senior Pastor who serves as our faithful, spirit-led man called by God to lead our congregation in worship, discipleship and our outreach programs. We are looking for someone who is committed in prayer and the bibilcal truths.
The church resides in the small-town of Louann, AR just minutes away from El Dorado and Camden, AR. Do no let the Cowboy name fool you, not everyone in the congregation is a cowboy. Our primary goal is to to bring all people to Jesus Christ. CTCC originated as a bible study for anyone interested in learning about the Lord's word. It eventually lead to the formation of a horse ministry at Beech Springs Camp in Louann, all over some 14 years ago. Later moving to its permanent location in Louann, AR on 32 acres with a 4,800 sq ft church, a separate childrens building and a small studio apartment. In addition, there is a full size PRCA arena and an additional barn. The horse ministry has brought families to our church through rodeos, barrel races, trail rides, school and mission trips.
The Key Responsiblities Includes:
- Preaching God's word as proclaimed in the bible to multiple discipleship and transform lives on Sunday worship service, while coordinating with the worship team.
- Conducting baptisms, communions, weddings, funerals, etc.
- Leading a Wednesday evening bible study to encourage growth.
- Pastoral care to include counseling, visitations and support for individuals and families.
- Participation in most of the church and arena events.
- An individual who can work closely with leaders of the church, requiring strong management skill.
Qualifications:
- A personal testimony of salvation and your growth with Jesus Christ.
- Strong leadership of the church and organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor to leaders of the church.
- Applicants must meet qualifications outline in 1-Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
- Must be able to pass the Ministry Safe backgroung check.
